• Just enter your name and email address and click the submit button, and we will send you a unique link that you can use to get access to our upload system.
• You click the link in the email, then simply upload your song file using our handy upload system. We can master wav, aif, mp3, wma, mp4 files, but we recommend sending us either wav or aiff at least 44.1khz 16bit. We can get a decent master on mp3s sometimes, but best practice is to use a higher resolution file like a wav or aiff.
• Once you’ve uploaded your song, give us 48 hours or so (usually it’s even sooner — maybe even the same day) and we will complete your master to the best of our know-how. We treat your song the same as any of our paying clients (in fact we hope you will become one after hearing our mastering quality!)
• We upload your finished master back to you through our automated system which then sends you an email with the link to download your finished master.
• You have all rights over the master, you own it for keeps, you can go straightaway to www.copyright.gov and get it copyrighted form SR (sound recording) — it’s YOURS, Baby! We reserve no rights whatsoever, except that we ask one small favor — if we like your song, and the master came out really good, we may want to use a 35 second clip from your song as a mastering example on our website or a youtube video (and you get free promotion in the process.)
